Trivium Chester Concert reviews
Vince is still perfect
This concert at the Star Plaza was incredible, with his voice sounding clearer and stronger than ever before. He seemed more warm, comfortable, funny, and genuine, making it just about perfect. His daughter, a wonderful performer, and his thoughts on becoming a grandfather for the first time, were beautiful parts of the show. He sang all our favorites, some new, great songs, and let the truly accomplished members of his band all have their moments to shine. The concert included an emphasis on heartfelt country music, some of his fast and furious guitar-playing, and some haunting acoustic solos. Without a big screen or many crazy stage antics, the performance was truly captivating. To end the evening on a very special note, he spent lots of time outside at his bus after the show greeting fans, signing items, and taking photos. Just proved again what seemed to be coming from the stage all night long - that he's not just a terrifically talented artist, he's a generous and kind person you feel you've known your whole life.
